My teacher has challenged me do the Dan Myers 25,000,000,000 apps challenge, I decided to try it out.

I subtracted the numbers from 6:27 and 6:28 and got 34,237, subtracted the numbers from 6:28 and 6:29 and got 34,026 and finally subtracted the numbers from 6:29 and 6:30 and got 34,203. I added up 34,237, 34,026 and 34,203 and divided it by 3 and got 34,155 downloads per minute. Then I subtracted 25,000,000,000 by 24,658,610,121 and got 341,389,879 downloads I need. I divided 341,389,879 by 34,155 and got 9,995 minutes left. I divided 9,995 by 60 and got 166 hours left. Then I divided 166 by 24 and got 6.9, close to 7 days. You would want to get on at March 2nd a little bit before 6:30.

This year, I’ve learned a lot. I can add, subtract, multiply and divide negative numbers. Like: -12+8=-4 and -8*5=-40. I can combine like terms and combine like terms with distribution, too. Example: -8f+64f-2r+-41r= 56f-43r and r+4(2r-2)= 9r-8. I can evaluate positive, zero, and negative exponents, I know this because I got an A on my test. I know I can simplify expressions using exponents because I also got an A on that test. I can perform distributive property (multiplying), too. In this class, I’d give myself and A or B because I get A’s on my tests but then I have fun and talk with people too.

First you have to multiply two of the same numbers to get the perfect square roots. Example; 7*7=49 and 8*8=64. Then you go halfway between 49 and 64 (56.5 which is 7.5) and eliminate numbers between 7.0 and 7.5 (7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4). I would eliminate 7.1 and 7.2 because 54 is closer to 56.5 not 49. so, I would assume the answer is 7.34.
